FINAL COMPILATION AND REFLECTION

FINAL COMPILATION       Exercises 1&2 Assignment 1: Self Portrait   Final Project: Visual Analysis Final Reflection I feel I have learnt so much from this module. It has in all honesty, been an incredible journey, despite how short it was, to expand my creativity and fun I went through with learning things from the basic design principles, to designing projects with meaning and a personal story to them and even delivering a message derived from passion through the use of a well-crafted piece. This entire subject was an enjoyable ride for me but if I had to pick what I enjoyed working on the most, it would be Assignment 1 as it helped me explore not only in expanding and inheriting different elements of design into my piece but also, helped me explore myself. To find out what makes me, the person I am, to see what has inspired me throughout the years and what has built me into the person I am today. Admittedly, I genuinely do not think there's been a single time where I did no

Design Principles, Visual Analysis

VISUAL ANALYSIS   This assignment requires I choose one goal from the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, and the one goal I decided to choose on one of Gender Equality. I believe that this is something I strongly support in regards to giving equality to all genders. Especially putting treatment of women on the same level as that of men.   Inspiration for Design work  I was inspired by this purely because that women's rights have been something that has been taken for granted in a way. The inequality they have to go through and worse treatment than what men have, creating a sense of negative treatment in favor of one gender to the other.  This artwork, while subtle, shows that women should be empowered and should be brought on the same level as men. Visual Analysis The crux of this is the issue of the general gap between women and men. For example, they have a relatively large employment gap, men standing at a whopping 72% while women only have 47%. Another example

Design Principles (Assignment 1) Process and Explanation

Assignment 1   This assignment was relatively tricky in what I see myself as. It was more of how I reflect upon my likes, dislikes, personality, my inspirations and even my aspirations. Basic Sketch I started out with this pose as I took some inspiration from a cover of a video game in which I thoroughly enjoyed playing through. The game's cover gives the visual of the protagonist's inner conflict and dilemma as a detective through the use of broken glass and the protagonist in the middle giving it a form of unity towards him and his struggles.   My inspiration for my piece   I utilized this form of storytelling in my image and created a certain type of harmonious unity in my sketches. 2nd Sketch I then created a version of myself that I liked, a certain similarity to my real appearance but also in the form of the art style I have adopted after many years of drawing. I wanted to display myself in the form I want to see myself in. With both the color scheme of what I like to we
